
Tom Ford
Retired Pilot, Member of the Knights of Columbus Council #12345
Tom graduated first in his class from USAF pilot school and was assigned to Laredo AFB where he lived with his growing family. He left the military after six years and join 3M as a salesman. After three years, he had the opportunity to get back in the cockpit flying as a chief pilot for a charter company in Philadelphia. While there he frequently served the Vanderbilt family and formed a relationship with them that culminated in Tom being offered a job. He served the Vanderbilt family for 35 years as their chief pilot flying them on their jet wherever they needed to go.
Tom retired from aviation in 2012 and currently resides in Oro Valley. He serves his community at Santa Catalina Catholic Church and is a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #12345.
He is honored to join The Matthew 19:14 Project as a Fundraising Committee member.
